Athena® Pro Balance, Water Soluble Powdered pH Up for the Professional Cultivator (25 lbs.)

Developed especially for advanced irrigation systems like Netaflex with venturis that may clog when using potassium silicates for pH management. Our ultra-pure potassium carbonate formula is 100% soluble and easily mixes into a high concentration solution.

Warning: This product is corrosive to most metals. Do not expose powder or liquid to aluminum. Keep away from low pH products and store in a well-ventilated area. Always wear proper PPE when handling, including respirator, eye protection and skin coverings.

Water Conditioners For Growers: Why pH Matters

Plants absorb nutrients based on the pH of the solution. At low pH (acidic), micronutrients become more available and may cause toxicity. At high pH (alkaline), these same elements may become locked out and cause deficiencies. Using Balance or Pro Balance in your fertilizer mix establishes a stable pH for optimal nutrient uptake.

Athena® Pro Balance is a powdered water-soluble pH up for the professional cultivator designed specifically for use with advanced injection systems like Dosatron or Netaflex to prevent clogging of venturis from specific products such as potassium silicates or potassium hydroxide. Athena® Pro Balance allows the grower to customize the strength of their pH adjustment to their unique situation. Pro Balance concentrate may be mixed at a rate of 0.25 – 1 lb per gallon. Adjust the mix rate and injection rate depending on the amount of pH adjustment required.

How To Use Pro Balance

Always wear protective gear when handling. Mix as a concentrate at 0.25 - 1 lb. per gallon (40 - 120 grams per liter) in clean water. Dose as needed to raise fertilizer solution to target pH. Calibrate your pH meter before measuring for best accuracy. Mixing Pro Balance causes a thermal reaction that heats the solution while mixing. Allow time to fully mix and cool before using concentrate.
