Xtreme Gardening® Mykos®, Pure Mycorrhizal Inoculum (1 lb.)

Xtreme Gardening Mykos Pure Mycorrhizal Inoculum, 1 lb

Mykos is pure mycorrhizal fungi, beneficial soil microbes that form a symbiotic partnership with plant roots. The fungi grow a sponge-like mass that acts as an extension of the root system, collecting and storing water and nutrients and trading them with the plant for carbohydrates.

Why growers add Mykos

• Expands the root zone: mycorrhizal hyphae reach water and nutrients beyond what roots can access alone.
• Natural and organic: a beneficial soil fungus species, safe to use with synthetic or natural fertilizers.
• Bigger yields: can increase crop yields and secondary metabolite production.
• Works in any media: effective in soil, coco, and other growing media.
• Great for: vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers.

How to use

Apply around the root zone of plants at transplanting, then apply weekly through the vegetative and early flower stages. Keep out of direct contact with strong fungicides.
